| Brewers march on at top |
| The
Brewers continued their fine start to the season, and maintained their
three-point lead at the top, with a 4-0 victory over Burscough at Eton Park
on Saturday. Christian Moore headed Albion in front with less than two minutes on the clock, a Terry Henshaw header made it 2-0 soon after, and second half goals from Aaron Webster and Alan Bailey completed another thoroughly convincing victory. |

| Dale's wonder goal |
| An
unbelievable goal from Dale Anderson brought to life an otherwise run-of-the-mill
Eton Park clash with Hucknall Town on Tuesday night. Leading thanks to Alan
Bailey's goal early in the first half, that looked likely to be the
only goal of the game, until Anderson picked the ball up inside the Hucknall
half and beat six visiting defenders, before slotting home what already looks
sure to go down as goal of the season. |

| Stalemate on Tyneside |
| A late
goal from Aaron Webster salvaged a point for the Brewers at Gateshead, with
Albion having to play the last half hour with then men after Darren Wassall
was sent off. The Brewers had trailed to Steve Agnew's 21st minute strike. |

| Brewers edge tight clash |
| Albion
just edged a close contest against one of the best footballing sides seen
at Eton Park in recent times. Jason Kavanagh blasted the Brewers in
front with a superb 25-yard strike early in the first half, and Alan
Bailey notched a debut goal to make it 2-0 before half time. Visitors Vauxhall
Motors made the home side sweat, pulling a goal back 20 minutes
from time. |

| Albion settle for a point |
| The
Brewers stay top of the league thanks to, of all people, Bishop Auckland,
who scored a late equalizer in their game with Lancaster City. Albion could
only manage a point from their own game at Marine, Steve Evans opening
the scoring for the Brewers but the home side hit back early in the
second half. New signing Alan Bailey made his debut with a substitute appearance
near the end. |

| Brewers run riot at Frickley |
| The
goals continue to come thick and fast, although a 5-0 scoreline at Frickley
Athletic flattered the Brewers somewhat. Neil Glasser opened the scoring
in the first half, and Sean Farrell's overhead kick made it 2-0 on the
stroke of half time, before late goals from Darren Stride (2) and super-sub
Andy Garner completed the rout. |

| Brewers go top after Trinity win |
| Two first half goals from Dale Anderson gave the Brewers a seemingly comfortable cushion at Eton Park, but two Trinity goals in quick succession stunned the home fans. Darren Stride restored home advantage again and added his second to complete a 4-2 scoreline which sees the Brewers go top of the UniBond Premier Division. |
