| Five star Brewers! |
| The
biggest league crowd of the season at Eton Park saw the Brewers sweep
to a five-goal lead in an amazing first half against Gateshead. Dale Anderson opened the scoring inside ten minutes, but the turning point came when Matt Duke saved a penalty from Steve Preen to deny the Tynesiders an equalizer. Anderson added a second from the penalty spot to increase the Brewers lead, and goals in quick succession - a brace from Christian Moore and one from Sean Farrell, left the visitors reeling, with Paul Thompson's second half goal scant consolation. |
|
| It got even better for Albion with the news that Lancaster and Altrincham had both lost, leaving the Brewers twelve points clear at the top of the UniBond League. |

| Nine points clear |
| Albion
opened up a nine-point gap at the top of the UniBond Premier Division
after coming from behind to beat Runcorn 3-1 at the Autoquest Stadium. After
conceding a sloppy goal against the run of play early in the second half,
the Brewers, roared on by a vociferous travelling support, forced their way
back into the game with Dale Anderson's beautifully flighted shot levelling
the scores. Aaron Webster headed in manager Nigel Clough's free-kick, and substitute Sean Farrell got on the end of Steve Evans' cross, to cap a highly successful week for the Brewers on their travels. |

| Butchered! |
| The
Brewers bounced back from Saturday's disappointing 1-1 draw with Bamber Bridge,
to hand out a 7-0 hammering to Droylsden on an amazing night at
a chilly Butcher's Arms. Darren Stride shot the Brewers in front inside ten minutes, Jason Kavanagh converted from the spot after a handball in the box, Steve Evans made it 3-0, and a sweeping move from deep culminated in Dale Anderson converting from close range on the stroke of half time. A second Kavanagh penalty after Anderson was felled saw the Brewers waste no time in adding to their lead in the second half, and late goals from Darren Stride and Christian Moore completed the Brewers' biggest away victory in more than half a century. |

| Webster off in home stalemate |
| A disappointing
point from the Brewers' clash with Bamber Bridge at Eton Park - Aaron
Webster was harshly sent off for a late challenge, super-sub Sean Farrell
set up Dale Anderson for what looked like being the winner, but a late equalizer
from Brig' left the home fans contemplating another two points dropped. |

| Webster off in home stalemate |
| The Brewers remain top of the UniBond Premier Division after a 1-1 draw at Bishop Auckland on Saturday. Colin Hoyle cancelled out Bishops' first half goal, heading home on 65 minutes. |
