hope of remembering this other than... It was dire. The coffeee was warm.
It was easy to get in and out. The referee could hear every word I said!
The bar was open. So much for the footy!! |

| FAT
Semi Final away in 1987 against Dartford. Brill. Fantastic fans and goal
by Paul Bancroft. What a party!! |

Final replay at the Hawthorns against the Kidders, we should have won it.
Paul Bancroft after a fabulous goal against Dartford in the semi's, lost
his bottle and missed a last minute penalty right in front of me. Then the
bugger had the cheek to move to Kidderminster the following season!! |
| What's the best away ground you've visited, and why? |
| With
Burton? Must be Atherstone on on Boxing Day 1988? As a man the whole of the
Brewers fans turned and chanted "Come on, you Fox!!" at the Staffordshire
Hunt as they trotted on horseback behind the back of the ground at our end
of the ground |

| Hayes,
being spat on from the flats which overlook the ground. |

Northampton
Town, for my sins, I was born there, I remember seeing the Cobblers losing
8-2 against Man Utd in the 5th rd of the FA Cup as a kid, G. Best, 6 Goals,
B. Kidd 2.
Woking as the nearest decent non league side to Guildford, where I've lived
for the last 12 years. Aldershot are well supported down here too, folks,
worth a visit 'cause their time will come again soon. |

| Lived
in Burton since I was 12 and believe in supporting the local team. |
| Which team do you dislike most? |
| For
me, I don't dislike any particular team. But I hate the people who use football
as a vehicle for extending their personal prejudice, such as that which we
see with Rangers and Celtic fans. Also I think whippets should be banned
from football grounds. |

like to see them do well |

would they be? |

- Consolidate in the Conference next season |

- Start to search for a new manager, Nigel Clough will not stay beyond

surprise,surprise). Only saw occasional game in those days. |

to Yeovil, closely followed by away to Bradford City. |

well designed and we could learn from their policy of giving the home fans
the best end. |

had Burton connections, youngest son had short association with youth team
about 8 years ago and I cannot imagine NOT supporting Burton Albion
now. |

really dislike any team, but haven't much time for the "big business" clubs
