This drinkers guide to Burton is not meant to be a comprehensive list
of all drinking establishments in our esteemed town, but a guide for football
fans, whether 'Brewers' or visitors.
For this reason the guide covers only the areas most likely to be
of interest to footie fans, ie the area around Eton Park and, of course,
the town centre.
And because I know different people like different things the section
on town pubs is split between the traditional type of pub and the louder
'fun pub' sort of place.
As you would expect from Britain's brewing capital there are loads
of pubs and plenty of good beer. And just in case you may be peckish I've
given a mention to those pubs which do food (where edible). Enjoy your pint
- and look out for the "*" ratings. (Maximum 5).
And by the way, is anyone feels particularly aggrieved at any omissions
email us and we'll
arrange a visit (especially if the beers are on the house!!!)
